Olympic has been building throughout the Turks and Caicos for over 30 years and among the team are some of the most experienced construction experts in the country.
Our vision was shaped by Holton "Polly" Dickerson, who after spending much of his life sailing the globe, was compelled to return home and settled on the emerging islands we find ourselves in decades later. Olympic was born out of a sense of global community, welcoming those from around the world to contribute and share their talents with others. This has guided our choice of projects, our building processes and our team members, resulting in satisfied clients who are among our biggest advocates.
Our contracts over the past decade have included everything from high-end luxury beachfront villas to large scale infrastructure projects and the team are capable developing our client's visions, no matter the scale.
Edwin Dickenson was born in the islands (Salt Cay) and has been working in the construction industry since he was a young man alongside his father. With a background in material supply his expertise has helped shape Olympic into one of the fastest growing construction companies here in Turks and Caicos.
Ian Arthur who has joined us from the UK gained his quantity surveying qualifications over 18 years ago and has been living in the islands for over a decade. He's acted on behalf of clients as a private quantity surveyor and also represented contractors ensuring the books balance. While he calls Provo his home, Ian has had experience in Belize, Australia, Croatia, The Dominican Republic, UK, St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Caravel Ave project in Leeward consisted of installing a new 60' dock, a bespoke kitchen, vanities and a two bedroom guest house. The build also included procuring and installing Italian Schüco windows which are a main feature of the property to make the most of the setting and surrounding views.
A five-bedroom luxury waterfront villa set on the edge of Chalk Sound National Park on Providenciales. Designed by Coast Architects and recently renovated by Olympic to make repairs from Irma, along with the addition of a new bespoke kitchen, hidden TV installation, adding a large infinity pool, decking and outdoor bathrooms.
Nine modern, custom design villas each on more than an acre of tropical gardens set on a hilltop overlooking the Princess Alexandra National Park. The 4-5 bedroom villas are finished to an exquisite standard and feature pools, indoor-outdoor living areas, a fitness centre, yoga pavilion and private beach access carved into local stone.
With Providenciales becoming increasingly popular with world's elite the government saw the need to develop a private luxury entry point to the country. The airport terminal now services the country's more affluent visitors who prefer private experience while travelling to our islands.
Olympic has been developing the tourism industry in recent years with the addition of a retail plaza to service our nearly 1 million cruise visitors to our capital every year. The duty free shops are now home to Ron Jon's surf shop and a number of local boutiques.
Alongside several private home owners we are pleased to have worked with some of the following businesses throughout our 30 years building in the islands.
